In Mountain Lion and OS X Lion v10.7.5, a new feature named Gatekeeper was introduced by Apple that helps protect your Mac from apps downloaded from the Internet. Apple provides guidance on the Gatekeeper feature on their support page.
As a consequence of this feature, you might encounter problems installing SaTScan. If you do have problems installing, you will need to update your security settings to Allow applications downloaded from: Anywhere
Minimum Hardware:
- Intel processor (PowerPC not supported.)
- 40 MB hard drive space
Java Runtime Environment (JRE):
- Sun Java Runtime Environment 6.0 or higher (get Java)

Type in the password you received upon registration in order to download the installation file.
